Tretrykk (woodprints) takes place in an art institute outside of Stavanger situated at the ocean. Woodprints are works in traditional woodprinting technique where there is cut nothing. Instead, the wood texture provides imprints on special quality paper. The intricate and familiar patterns of wood are actually recordings of organic growth in the coordinates of time and space. The material used for printing these works has been characterized as urban driftwood. My point here is that beauty is a messenger as good as any object floating in the seas.
